3.50 (below average) Since the character design seemed good I expected something more from this anime. The story is banal, foreseeable and boring, the characters are as flat as the relationships between them and everything is developed superficially.

NYX: "Just as counting the number of flowers in the world is impossible, you can't stretch out your hand to save all the people suffering on this large Arcadia who need help."

3.50 (below average) I saw it when I was a child and even then I considered it stupid. I understand that anime are works of fantasy, but if they mean to talk about real things they must maintain at least a minimum of verisimilitude. It's ridiculous to see children of 10 years playing in stadiums worthy of the Champions League filled to the brim, school matches broadcasted on TV, 240 episodes dedicated ONLY to a ball. People's life doesn't revolve around a ball! I understand we are talking about football, but the life of a child is not just that! The miss of all sports anime is that they don't talk about anything but sport, and it's boring. And anyway, I don't think that football includes circus tricks, gyrations in the air and leaps of 20 meters, bright fireballs that before arriving in goal make a rush around the world, balloons that pierce the net, fractures and various diseases in spite of which people plays at the risk of the health, soccer fields one thousand miles long that seem to never end and countless of such nonsenses. I'm speechless.

TSUBASA OZORA: "The ball is my best friend!"

3.50 (below average) I didn’t think they would have ever been able to come up with a female character more nerve-wracking than Sawako, and instead they did it... it really is true that there’s no limit for the worst! Mei is the total nothing, absolutely trivial, always sullen; she moves, speaks and acts with an incredible calm, almost bored, as if nothing cares to her and she’s forced to do so. Her look is scary and all that comes out of her mouth are mumbled phrases. Making all of the school girls seem mawkish blithe geese does not automatically make an insignificant insect look like someone interesting just because she's different. Spineless girls gives me hives! And I have to believe that a perfect guy would care of such a nullity? But some credibility, really! These anime are created by dreamers who have not the slightest knowledge of the social dynamics. Absurd stories like this seem more fake than flying robots!
The opening, a boredom-fetched, makes you fall asleep even before the episode begins. The progressive introduction of new characters to spice up the story doesn’t work, because Mei is simply BORING and UNINTERESTING. The story is trite, predictable, already seen almost 100 times, not original at all.

KENJI NAKANISHI: "I love the way you smile, how you shine when you're happy. The way you act, the sound of your voice... I feel happy every time I see you. I love everything about you, more than anyone else."

2.00 (very poor) I don't like anything of this anime, I think it's not my genre at all. It's totally nonsense and full of extremisms of all kind. His humor based on violence and references to the world of the sexuality doesn't make me laugh even a bit.

SAKURA KUSAKABE: "Geez! We promised this morning that you wouldn’t club me to death anymore!"

1.00 (terrible) Ridiculous, the worst anime I've ever seen: a silly story (if you can call this a story) with the usual stupid girl as protagonist and the usual cold and cynical boy who falls in love with her but treats her like a rag (nor even she complains), secondary characters without consistency as the main ones, completely useless in the plot, and the bad guy which you don't know who he is, what he wants, why he does what he does.

YUZURU HAGINO: "That's plain sexual harassment!"
